Jagex released Old School RuneScape on Steam

Jagex released Old School RuneScape on Steam and updated the cross-platform upgrade function to celebrate the 8th anniversary of the game. Seeing all the news about it definitely makes me miss it. The free fantasy MMORPG is an old version of RuneScape in 2007 and was re-released as Old School RuneScape in 2013. It has been downloadable and played online for a long time, and I want to download it to Steam.

If you are playing on Steam, you can log in to your existing Old School RuneScape account. Or, if you are a new user, please log in to your Steam account. It has cross-progress and playability, so you can transfer the saved content to other platforms, and you can also play with friends on other platforms.

The free version and the paid version of ld School RuneScape are available on Steam. Pay a fee to access more missions and RuneScape gold. But as far as I remember, the functions of the free version are far from enough. If you like to collect such things, it also has achievements, trading cards and all these Steam gubbins.

Players in various colorful costumes gathered in the Grand Exchange of Old School RuneScape. The landing of the game on the Valve platform coincides with its 8th anniversary, so it is holding an in-game event where players can earn a banana skin cloak in the game. The press release said that the existing old school players plan to meet in the starting town of Lumbridge and all new Steam players are also welcome, which sounds very pleasant. Although I no longer really like MMOs, I do miss the enthusiasm of the players. I am full of memories of strangers wearing wild armor. I used to play these games a lot, which can help me get started.

Old School RuneScape can now be downloaded on Steam. The regular, more modern RuneScape still exists. It arrived on Steam as early as October. Elsewhere in the RuneScape space, developer Jagex was recently acquired by The Carlyle Group, a private equity firm. According to reports, they intend to speed up the studio's content creation and launch new games.
